We don’t think that you’re as closed-minded as the internet does. It is no secret that when you surf through the web or click through social media that a ton of information about you is being collected. It knows who your friends are and what you shop for. Most importantly it makes decisions about the type of person you are and what you would like to view. While that sounds very nice it starts to manifest itself by only providing you with posts and ads for things it thinks you will agree with and like. Very quickly it will stop showing you news stories that are outside of what the algorithms have decided you’ll agree with. It will also eliminate posts or ads that can provide you with honest and balanced information. Information that might change your mind about how you think on a particular subject or about a particular candidate.
