Role playing can be totally weird. And awkward. And silly. Embrace it all! When you’re with your partner, let go of the insecurities and have some fun.
There’s only one don’t: Don’t overthink it.
Remember that your partner wants you no matter what. Laugh if you feel like it! Try out different scenarios and take turns picking themes.

There is nothing new about treating your loved one to breakfast in bed which is probably why it doesn’t happen enough. It’s a classic for a reason. Most people I know who say they can’t cook can usually do a pretty exemplary job making some sort of breakfast food. So do your thing folks and for goodness sake, step it up with some fresh fruit and a few flowers.
Don’t be intimidated by the idea. Even coffee with a slice of toast and jam unexpectedly delivered on a tray will be enough…we promise. Take the toast up a notch and make it a fancy french toast with brioche bread paired with a mimosa. Tell them they don’t have to leave the bed all day!
Make it special:
I personally don’t think there’s anything fun or romantic about camping in the great outdoors. That being said, having a romantically decorated tent in your backyard, on your porch or even in your living room shows effort and ingenuity. Even the addition of a tall mosquito net can be very alluring and elegant.
Quick tip: if you decide to set up indoors don’t attach any thing to your ceiling fan although I imagine having the shared experience of surviving a living room tornado will provide a very memorable event.
As in, “Gee, we’ve passed this spot a million times but never took the time to enjoy it.”
Maybe your dream was to take a romantic trip to Rome? I’m sure that there are just as many Italians who dream of taking a romantic trip to your hometown. (Can you believe I kept a straight face while saying that?).
With everyone’s understandable reluctance to travel, this is a great time to discover what treasures are close by. If you can walk or bicycle there, all the better! Pack a Picnic Perhaps!

There is no better time to bone up on what foods and methods of preparation will improve your immune system and overall health. Launching this new regimen while in the midst of a romantic celebration can be your way of saying, “I am completely invested in your future.” On the other hand you might want to rummage through your partners papers and see if you spot a new life insurance policy.
