Have no doubt, the Mask Debaters will be showing up to vote. Let’s hope that the folks that care about themselves, their families and the health of their communities show up as well and in record numbers.

We are personally sick of hearing “in these trying times” or “in these unprecedented times”, but both are true. The entire country is going through health, social, economic and political challenges unseen in most of our lifetimes. Yeah, 2020 has been a dumpster fire, but in November, we have the ability to redeem the year by voting. So let’s all spend the Summer and Fall in a mindset of hope and positivity!

Primaries have been disrupted, but the nominees are set. Make sure that you are ready. 

• Make sure you are registered to vote. Every state has a different cut off. Make sure you don’t miss yours.
• Find out where to vote in your area. 
• Don’t assume it will be the same as the last time you voted. Guidelines for early, absentee, mail-in, and even Election Day voting are changing every day across the country. Be sure to double check your state so that you know exactly where to go, when to go there and make sure your voice is heard!

All states and counties have voting registration information online, but www.vote.org has compiled links and information and is a one-stop site for the latest news.

Social Distancing measures will likely still be in place in November, so take that into account when you are planning your time.

The only way to make real change is to elect leaders who reflect your values. No one candidate will be a perfect match, but we guarantee there’s going to be one who’s close enough.
