The world is divided into two schools of thought where it comes to bunnies, hamsters and ferrets. One thought is that they are soft cuddly animals. The other way of thinking is that they are rats dressed in clever disguises. Whichever way you lean the fact is that children seem to love and want to cuddle them.If your child has a pet it builds a feeling of responsibility, develops nurturing behavior and encourages empathy. Animals also give your child a friend that is always there and even has tiny little shoulders to cry on.
