There is nothing new about treating your loved one to breakfast in bed which is probably why it doesn’t happen enough. It’s a classic for a reason. Most people I know who say they can’t cook can usually do a pretty exemplary job making some sort of breakfast food. So do your thing folks and for goodness sake, step it up with some fresh fruit and a few flowers.
Don’t be intimidated by the idea. Even coffee with a slice of toast and jam unexpectedly delivered on a tray will be enough…we promise. Take the toast up a notch and make it a fancy french toast with brioche bread paired with a mimosa. Tell them they don’t have to leave the bed all day!
